Benvenuto a casa
Not a hotel. Not an Airbnb. A real Sicilian home with a host who shows you hidden beaches, local spots, and my mother's cooking.
I speak English and Italian. My mother speaks perfect English too. We're discovering Sicily together — and we'd love to explore it with you.
"We are travelers at heart, just like you. We know the exhaustion of a long journey and the soul-deep relief of finding a place that doesn't just feel like a room, but like a home. We’ve been the strangers in a new land, and that is why we open our doors differently—with a warm table, a local's secret, and the kind of care you only find with family."
Our home is modern — 3 bedrooms, 2 shared bathrooms, a salon, a kitchen, and balconies. My mother cooks real Sicilian meals for guests. I show you around — beaches, markets, local spots. You're not on your own.
Via San Jachiddu 90, 98152 Messina
4.6 km from city center — quiet residential area. I'll take you wherever you need to go.
La città sullo Stretto — 55 km of coast, history, and flavor.
And more — the alley bars, the fisherman's pier at sunset, the quiet corners that don't make the postcards. Every walk becomes a story.
The largest astronomical clock in the world. Every day at noon, the bronze figures move. The Cathedral's wooden ceiling and second-largest organ in Italy are inside.
The main artery — 1.5 km of palm trees, shops, restaurants, and gelaterie. Walk from the port to the Santuario di Cristo Re for the best view over the Strait.
A unique Mediterranean ecosystem where brackish waters, sea, and biodiversity meet in perfect balance. Famous across Sicily for traditional mussel and clam farming.
Green hills above Messina with pine forests and picnic areas. People come here for barbecues, walks in the woods, and panoramic views over the Strait. The main spot is area attrezzata di Musolino — a local favorite for weekend escapes.
These are the destinations. What's between them matters more — the roadside sellers, the village views you'd miss on the highway. I don't just drive — I stop.
Hilltop town with the second-largest Greek Theatre in Sicily. Views of Etna and the sea. Piazza IX Aprile, Corso Umberto I, and the panoramic villa comunale.
Ancient borgo under a castle on a rocky spur. Panoramic views, Renaissance churches, and the Piscina di Venere — a clear pool surrounded by sea and rocks.
Coastal town just north of Messina. Quiet beaches, seaside promenade, and local restaurants. Close enough for a spontaneous evening walk.
Spectacular basalt lava canyon. The river cuts through dark volcanic walls forming small waterfalls. You walk inside the gorge — cool, dramatic, and unique.
🚗 Back Road Drives
I take you on local roads through the Peloritani mountains — not the highway. Winding roads, terraced hillsides, old stone villages, and views over the Strait at every turn. Just 20 minutes up and the whole coast opens beneath you. We stop where the view is best, no rush.
Not a tour — time spent together.
Morning market visit, then my mother cooks real Sicilian recipes. Pasta, seafood, traditional dishes — at our family table.
No crowds. I take you to empty coves, volcanic black sand, and crystal water guidebooks miss.
Markets, sunset piazzas, real Sicilian atmosphere. If there's a festival, we go together.

My mother doesn't just "provide meals." She prepares full Sicilian breakfasts, traditional lunches, and multi-course dinners. All ingredients from the local market and all home-cooking labor are included. You will never go hungry.
I am your private driver and local "fixer." Fuel, highway tolls, and my 24/7 guiding effort are included. Whether we go to Taormina, secret beaches, or just a late-night gelato run, you don't pay extra for the ride.
Note: Price is per room (up to 2 people). We value quality over quantity; we only host one group at a time to ensure you get our full attention.

Abel made us feel like family. The cooking night was the best meal we had in all of Italy.

I came for 3 days and stayed 10. This is the real Sicily you can't find on Google.
